CyTerra Corporation was formed in July of 2000 when research and development activities were divested from Thermo Electron Corporation including a key research program based in Orlando, Florida under the direction of Thermo Electron’s wholly-owned Coleman Research Corporation. In March of 2006, CyTerra Corporation was acquired by L-3 Communications.
